Vexx
Vexx is one of the most ecxiting and visually stimulated exhibition in Barbados ,ever .The exhibition was held at the Queens park gallery in 1989 by three rastafarian artist, Grafton Woodpecker,Ras Akyemi Ramsay and Ras ishi Butcher.This exhibition challenged both the artistic community and the wider society in general.Most of the peices dealt with views affecting the society at the time.most of the works were of monumental proportions and was an embarrassment to the small visual space at the gallery,echoing the artists views of asking for a national gallery.
